從在地關懷出發，針對我國藝術教育之論文、研究報告、教材、教具、教學作品、數位資料、展演空間及有關實體資源、數位內容及教學資訊等，進行徵集、篩選、建檔、整合或媒介，並建置全國藝術教育入口網站及藝術教學平台，期涵蓋藝術與人文領域之網站教學資源向下紮根，協助九年一貫的「藝術與人文」領域學習，製作多元的學習活動，逐年實施教材上網。逐步統整文學、音樂、視覺藝術、表演藝術教育及各類文化藝術資源，建置各學習領域豐富且具特色之教學資源。便於全國教師、學生及一般社會大眾從事藝術教育教學、研究、交流學習之用，提供具有臺灣多元文化特色之藝術教育資源整合服務。
