林榮三文化公益基金會LinRungSanFoundationofCultureandSocialWelfare本會係由前監察院副院長林榮三先生所創設，林先生於民國六十四年當選立法委員以來，一直默默關心這個社會，總覺得我們的物質生活已有很大的改善，可是精神文明與文化道德層面，並沒有同步成長，對此一直耿耿於懷。後來經過長時間的考慮，在民國八十一年七月間提撥了新台幣參億元，作為永久基金，設置財團法人林榮三文化公益基金會，以其孳息收入，推動文化學術及科技研究，舉辦社會文教公益事業，獎助進修及優良創作，促進學術交流等活動，藉以積極參與社會文化建設。
